Is INeedALawyer.com.au a law practice ?
No INeedALawyer.com.au is a Referral service that enables you to speak with a lawyer. It does not give legal advice. Your details are sent to a lawyer who will contact you to discuss your matter.
Do you guarantee that a lawyer will contact me?
Yes. A lawyer will contact you by telephone and if you are unavailable by telephone an email will be sent to you.
How long before I will be contacted?
In most cases it will be the same day or the next working day. Except for holiday periods (see Terms and Conditions) as long as you are available we guarantee that you will be contacted within two working days (48 hours).
Is this service free?
Yes. We guarantee that you will be contacted by a lawyer to discuss your matter free of charge. After the initial free consultation if you decide to proceed the lawyer will make arrangements for a personal interview either with his or her practice or another practice closer to you.
Does INeedALawyer.com.au charge lawyers for this service?
Yes. The lawyers who contact you pay a referral fee to INeedALawyer.com.au if they refer you to another lawyer they will charge that lawyer a referral fee.
Do I pay any of the lawyer's referral fees?
No. The lawyers do not recover the referral fee from clients. They are treated as business development expenses similar to the Yellow Pages Advertising.
